I just did some research on this film and was pleased to learn it’s available on Warner Archives at a decent price on Amazon and other outlets. Great to see a young Crawford in a transitional role for her, and always a feast for the eyes to look on the camerawork of the great Charles Rosher (who lensed Murnau’s SUNRISE)and the art direction of the rightly esteemed Cedric Gibbons. The film’s story is an interesting diversion from the conventional prison drama.
Nice little find here Tony! I’ll be ordering my copy.
