Well, before Manhattan was “cleaned up” during the administrations of Rudolph Guiliani and Michael Bloomberg, much of the all-night sordidness express here would be most applicable to the Big Apple, a.k.a. “The City that never Sleeps.” This social aberations were certainly prevalent decades ago during the height of the art form here that informs it, but around the world it still exists in force.
But I do like the “We All Live in the City” theme, which basically asserts that there is no way to hide from these conditions, at least with the time frame being examined here.
Hi! Tony and Sam Juliano,
Nice post…I’am not familiar with Jim Morrison, but the words he use here “rings” so very…“true!”
Thanks, for sharing!
