  1. Another wonderful featured film here from the very end of the pre-code era. Splendid poster, and definitely a film to seek out. This is one I haven’t seen yet, but definitely on my must see list for all sorts of reasons, not the least of which is that distinguished cast.

  2. The director W.S. “Woody Van Dyke” who helmed the Eddy/MacDonald operetta NAUGHTY MARIETTA was dubbed “one take Van Dyke” for his propensity to go with a single take to stay within budget and time constrictions. But his work was often accomplished anyway.
