Hi! Tony…
What a very nice noirish poster for the 1946 film Deadline at Dawn.
I think that Deadline at Dawn is more a Who done it? or a psychological film noir.
(After viewing this poster I plan to re-visit this film…Since it have been restored and is part of the Warner Bros. Volume 5 boxset.
Tony, Thanks, for sharing!
DeeDee 😉 🙂
I have always found that the RKO posters are incomparable in the noir genre, as they pictorially captured the darkness (and the tense urgency) that defined the genre. Of course that’s a given considering the defining output. This is one of the great ones for sure.
