  1. Hi! Tony,
Some of the films on your list I’am familiar with and some of the films on your list I’am not familiar with…Therefore, I will look forward to your reviews of these films.

By the way, I really do not want to sound like a robot that has short circuited, but have you read author Lee Horsley’s book The Noir Thriller yet. Because I’am currently, reading her book and like fellow blogger Woody Haut said, “The book does cover ever aspect of film noir.”

Tony, Thanks, for sharing that very unique and intriguing poster from the 1944 film…The Mask of Dimitrios too!
    Take care!
    DeeDee 😉

  2. Thanks Tom. Great to have you on board.

Hey DeeDee. Sorry I forgot to respond to your earlier query on Lee Horsley’s book The Noir Thriller. No, I haven’t read it, but I will add it to my ‘to-get’ list. Tks.

  3. I meant to say…Woody Haut said, “The book does cover ever[y] aspect of film noir.”

Tony said, “And widening my focus to include reviews of noir fiction and books of commentary…”

Tony, I ‘am so happy that you plan to “cover” or focus on books too…Because after you get a copy of the book The Noir Thriller I would like to “hear” and read your thoughts about this book too!…Tony, I plan to send you an email about the book “The Noir Thriller.”

By the way, author Eric Beetner’s book One Too Many Blows To The Head chapters are short (So far,) and please be mindful of the fact, that he is a hard edge “pulp” writer.[Translation: He minces no words in his writing(s) and since he has a co-writer
author J.B.Kohl, I’am not sure where his thoughts begins and her thoughts ends.]

    Take care!
    DeeDee 😉

  4. Tony, I am looking forward to so many of these, and am delighted that you seem to have quite a bit of enthusiasm to move forward with them. Films.Noir.net has really come alive in the past months, and this latest promise is call for celebration!
