    I have never watched the film Endless Desire (Hateshinaki yokubo 1958 Japan)
    Director Shohei Imamura
    DP Joji Ohara.

    So far, you have posted Cinematic Cities: L.A., New York, Paris, France and now Japan Noir…and all I can say is very different locales, but all with the same inescapable “noirish” elements presence.
